Productivity is a rather vague term but for me to be productive is not about working tirelessly and sleeping 4 hours a day… The definition of productivity is simple: work less and produce more !

1. THE PRODUCTIVITY PROJECT by Chris Bailey

If you are someone who can’t seem to be productive or if you are someone looking to become more productive, this book is for you.

The Productivity Project is a book named after a journey that the author, Chris Bailey, embarked on. Chris denied two job offers to dive into a year-long project to try to become as productive as possible. He did extensive research and experimented with every tip and method out there that he could find.

He did things such as limiting his sleep, working 90-hour weeks, spending 10 days in isolation, surviving solely on nutrition shakes, using his phone for only an hour a day, and much more.

He created a blog to document his journey, which eventually lead to this book. He connected with notable experts in the world of productivity and was able to interview them and pick their brains.

“Here’s a book that promises, in the title, to pay for itself. And, the truth is, it will, in just a few days. And you’ll even enjoy the journey.”

– Seth Godin, author of Linchpin

2. ATOMIC HABITS by Michael D. Watkins

Atomic Habits is a great book if you are looking for something prescriptive which will lay out a bunch of do’s and dont’s for creating new habits and breaking old ones. It is full of directly actionable advice.

If the thought of picking up a self-help book makes you cringe, get past that aversion. It is better to figure out how small changes can help you live differently than spend a lifetime complaining about how your efforts do not pay off. This book can benefit only those who are willing to believe that individual choices make a difference. Systemic change is important; however, it does not happen overnight. In the meanwhile, let us focus on what we can do.

3. HYPER FOCUS by Chris Bailey ( again ! )

It’s my favorite book of this list ;)

So, our attention has never been as overwhelmed as it is today. Many of us recognize that our brains struggle to multitask. Despite this, we feel compelled to do so anyway while we fill each moment of our lives to the brim with mindless distraction. Hyperfocus provides profound insights into how you can best take charge of your attention to achieve a greater sense of purpose and productivity throughout the day.

“Hyperfocus helped me recognize the limits of my attentional space and make my environment more conducive to focus.”

—The New York Times

All these books are available on Audible (30 days free and a book offered just for you! )

I recommend that you listen now to HYPER FOCUS with this offer ;)

Also you can buy these books :

It is that these 3 books will make you aware of the power of productivity and if you apply all the advice and techniques used you will take a considerable lead over all your competitors and go to bed earlier in the evening with this feeling of having accomplished all the tasks that had to be done!

Thank you for reading 🖤
